With a
Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Amy has an extensive
background in writing and book editing that stretches back
to 1989. She began telling her stories through film and
video in 2003 when she helped a friend edit a screenplay.
Since then, Amy's written several screenplays both short and
feature length, completed two extensive video editing
courses through the Bay Area Video Coalition, worked in
post-production with award-winning documentary filmmaker Tom
Shepard, and tried her hand at directing, assistant camera,
and other various crew positions.
All of this
has led Amy to her true passion: producing. She's produced a
documentary, a sci-fi feature length movie, a sci-fi short
for the Sci-Fi Channel and has several projects in
development and fundraising.
Most
importantly, Amy has surrounded herself with quality people
in the industry. She works with a talented group of folks
who can get the job done: award-winning directors and
cinematographers, camera operators, video editors, sound
designers, set and prop designers, writers and actors. |
