CAREER SUMMARY
After being a freelance book editor for almost ten years,
a friend asked me to help her with a screenplay she was working on.
I enjoyed the work immensely. It didn’t take long and I was hooked.
For the last four years I have dedicated myself to my new passion,
learning all the different angles of the film industry.
Currently I am the Producer for a finished feature film that has shown
in two film festivals as of June 2008, as well as selling to a dozen foreign
territories and I am Executive Producer for a feature that's securing funding
and going into pre-production. My goal is to continue producing feature films
for both the domestic and international market.
Pre-Preproduction
I was Production Manager for a feature length film now completed and Executive Producer
for a feature that's going into pre-production. I have worked as a Development Director,
working on raising money for a documentary, and as an Associate Producer for a television
program shown locally on the WB network. I have taken classes on screenwriting and written
three feature-length screenplays and two shorts.
Production
I have worked on independent film sets in such positions as Production Manager, Director of Photography,
Associate Producer, Co-Director, 1st Assistant Director, Script Supervisor, Camera Operator,
Lighting Assistant and Assistant Camera.
Post-Production
Currently, I'm editing a tv sitcom in Premiere Pro that I shot myself, as well as working in
After Effects on numerous green screen and special effects shots. I have worked
as a compositor in After Effects on a feature. I have worked with Academy Award winning
Jim Klein and Sundance Winner Tom Shepard on their documentary project as an Assistant
Video Editor Intern. I have also edited numerous dramatic performances in both Avid and
Premiere Pro.
